SIP configuration

In the RealTunnelTM panel you can configure which SIP port you want to use for the RealTunnelTM client by the Options/Preferences/SIP tab (e.g. 5061). If this port is taken, use another port.

1. Windows Messenger in SIP Mode. You must enter SIP user id by selecting Tools/Options/Accounts, enter your SIP user id in the 'Sign-in name' field (e.g. tester@realsip.com). When signing in you will be asked to enter password (the password is the same as the RealTunnel password when using our realsip.com SIP domain) and 'User name' (e.g. tester, not include the @realsip.com). You may not have to enter password on all SIP servers.

2. eConf (in SIP mode). Select Tools/eConf Settings/SIP settings and enter SIP user id in the 'User Name' field, enter password in the 'Password' field (the password is the same as the RealTunnel password when using our realsip.com SIP domain). You may not have to enter password on all SIP servers. Select the 'Use the Registrar' and enter 'Registrar Address'. The Registrar address is realsip.com when using our SIP server. Also make sure the 'SIP Enabled' is selected. You may also check that the 'Dial Domain' is equivalent to the desired SIP domain (e.g. realsip.com) by selecting 'Advanced'.
